M4X-337 was a barren planet in the Pegasus galaxy which held a Stargate and was explored in the early days of the Atlantis expedition. When a shadow creature escaped its confinement on Atlantis, Doctor Rodney McKay managed to bait it through the Stargate to M4X-337 by throwing a naquadah generator through. (ATL: "Hide and Seek")
