Malcolm Tunney is a scientist from Earth who went to school with Dr. Rodney McKay.

2008[]
In 2008, he created a space-time matter bridge by secretly using the work of McKay and his sister Jeannie Miller. To demonstrate his new invention, he held scientific presentation in a Kramer Innovations facility, presumably somewhere in Nevada or Arizona. However, when things started going wrong and he was unable to shut down the bridge, he accused McKay and Dr. Jennifer Keller of sabotaging the project. When McKay confronts him about the theft of his bridge, Malcolm admits he got his hands on the classified research and made it his own. He asked McKay to assist him in shutting the bridge down. With the help of McKay and Bill Nye, he was able to create a second bridge to destabilize the power and collapse both bridges. (SGA: "Brain Storm")
