Lieutenant Marchenko was a member of an SG-1-Russian joint group sent to find Major Valentine Kirensky and his team on planet P2X-338. When a trap within the ziggurat activated, he was crushed to death by the massive door which he was trying to hold back. (SG1: "The Tomb")
