McKays lab is an area in the central tower of Atlantis taken by Dr. Rodney McKay as his personal laboratory. It is located alongside one of the stairwells and has a large blast door. Originally he was in a multipurpose lab but soon moved to these much larger facilities. (ATL: "Suspicion")

In 2007 a Quarantine lockdown caused Lt. Colonel John Sheppard and Teyla Emmagan to be trapped in McKay's Lab. McKay's lab has three doors and features a control console. (ATL: "Quarantine").
