This planet has no known canonical name.  While the information presented in this article is canonical, the planet described lacks an official name, thus the title is conjecture.

The Medieval planet was a planet in the Milky Way galaxy which was once under the control of Sokar and held a Stargate. It is the only planet besides Earth known to have Christian practicers on it, possibly aside from the worlds settled by Merlin, traveled to by SG-1 on their search for the Sangraal. They are, in theory, Orthodox Christians, as the Great Schism and the Protestant Reformation had yet to occur when they were taken from Earth. Though, the Prayer to St. Michael, used by the locals as they tested Teal'c for demonic possession, was composed during the 1800s by Pope Leo XIII in response to the growing secularism of Europe. The possibility of Sokar's deceptions could explain the discrepancies between the superstitious culture of this world and the historical Catholic Church in the Middle Ages. After SG-1 were successful in stopping both the Unas and the Goa'uld-possessed Canon, they advised the people on the planet to bury their Stargate which the people presumably did, permanently severing any contact from the rest of the galaxy.(SG1: "Demons")
