Michael Shanks is an actor who was born on December 15, 1970 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He currently resides there with his wife Lexa Doig.
He met Lexa on the set of the Andromeda episode "Star-Crossed", and they married on August 2, 2003. They had a daughter (Mia Tabitha) born on September 13, 2004 and a son (Samuel David) born on March 19, 2006. He also has a daughter (Tatiana Shanks) with Vaitiare Bandera. His favorite villain is Anubis,[1] because he's so oily. He is also the only main actor other than Corin Nemec to have both his characters Daniel Jackson and Thor meet Anubis in person.
