Peter was a male Tau'ri who was stationed at Icarus Base.
Biography

He and roughly 80 people were forced to evacuate Icarus Base during an attack against the base by three Ha'tak vessels. He ended up stranded with the others on Destiny, an Ancient spaceship located several billion light years from Earth.
He was part of the group sent to the Eden. He elected to stay on the planet alongside other civilians, believing it to be a better chance for survival than the ship. (SGU: "Faith")
A short time later, he appeared in Lt. Tamara Johansen's vision after she had been shot during the Lucian Alliance invasion of Destiny. he helped watch Carmen Johansen while Robert Caine showed T.J. the Nebula.(SGU: "Intervention")
On the planet he started a romantic relationship with Val. He was responsible for her accidental death when a tree he had chopped down struck her on the head. He was among the people who died from extreme cold exposure due to the harsh winter. He was later reanimated, possibly by the Obelisk builder, and sent back to the Destiny without remembering anything from the planet. With the aid of an hypnotic procedure performed by Camile Wray, he regained his memory for a short time before he died again. (SGU: "Visitation")
