Peter DeLuise is an actor, writer, director, and producer for Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, and Stargate Universe. Like Alfred Hitchcock and Woody Allen he tries to place himself into each episode that he directs in a small cameo role. When writing, he usually names one minor character after his role from his previous series, 21 Jump Street as well as having at least 1 character in each series named after a main character from seaQuest DSV, SG1 had Lt. Dagwood named after Seaman Dagwood (both played by himself), on Stargate: Atlantis there was Lieutenant Aiden Ford named after Commander Jonathan Ford and Adam Brody on Stargate Universe named after Lieutenant James Brody. He is the brother of fellow SG-1 actors David DeLuise and Michael DeLuise and the son of fellow SG-1 actor Dom DeLuise. Also, he is married to actress Anne Marie DeLuise, his girlfriend at the time he cast her in "The Other Side". Previously he appeared in the series 21 Jump Street and seaQuest DSV. He had a small role in an episode of 3rd Rock From The Sun (with his brother, Michael, and father, Dom) which also featured David DeLuise in a recurring role.
