This unnamed planet was located near a battle between a hive ship belonging to Queen Death and the George Hammond.
During the battle, Ronon Dex fled the hive ship in an escape pod with Jennifer Keller and a now-Wraith Doctor Rodney McKay. After the hive ship was destroyed and all other forces left the area, the group was left stranded in space but McKay discovered this nearby planet was habitable and had a Stargate. As it was uninhabited, McKay theorized it had been Culled or abandoned long before. Despite some issues, McKay managed to land the Wraith escape pod fifty kilometers from the Stargate, a three-day walk for the group. The three made their way to the Stargate, with McKay having to feed on Keller to survive as he was starving. Keller survived due to a new retrovirus and they were able to reach the Stargate and use it to return to Atlantis. (SGA: "The Furies", "Secrets")
