The weapon was designed by Thor using the knowledge of the original replicator disruptor developed by Jack O'Neill while he possessed the Ancient knowledge. The weapon was constructed on Thor's ship, the Daniel Jackson. It took 10-30 minutes for the weapon to fully charge and the resulting disruptor wave could encompass an entire city and its surroundings. This amount of time seemed be greatly lessened as Thor was later able to fire the cannon twice in just a few minutes, but it may merely need to be charged and then can be fired more than once.

"Now that I have seen what the device does, I may be able to modify a larger version to broadcast a disruption wave over all of Orilla."
Thor

The Replicator disruptor cannon was a larger, ship-mounted variant of the original Replicator disruptor.

Overview

The weapon was designed by Thor using the knowledge of the original replicator disruptor developed by Jack O'Neill while he possessed the Ancient knowledge. The weapon was constructed on Thor's ship, the Daniel Jackson. It took 10-30 minutes for the weapon to fully charge before it's first use and the resulting disruptor wave could encompass an entire city and its surroundings. This amount of time seemed to be greatly lessened as Thor was later able to fire the cannon twice in just a few minutes, but it may merely need to be charged and then can be fired more than once.
