Ryn was a male human and he is a member of the Pack and is part of the Wanderer. He is a pilot and in 2004 he flew a Death Glider down to Golla IX when the Pack visited the planet to look for something that could stop blight from killing the remainder of their crops. But he left the planet in a Tel'tak. He was discovered to be a spy for Mirris who was helping Mirris with her plan to spread the Aschen bioweapon on Earth in exchange for being made the leader of the Pack. He was killed later by Teal'c in self-defense with his own weapon while Ryn was trying to murder Jade O'Neill. After his death, Suj tracked down the source of the bioweapon and destroyed it, averting a future in which it had been spread by Ryn's efforts. (SG1: "Relativity")
Alternate timeline[]
- In an alternate timeline, Ryn succeeded in his mission of spreading Mirris' Aschen bioweapon, leading to an apocalyptic future where all of humanity across the Milky Way galaxy was being threatened with extinction. Although Commander-in-Chief Jack O'Neill and his people suspected that Mirris had someone working for her amongst the Pack, they were never able to identify Ryn as the traitor. (SG1: "Relativity")
