The entire team was trapped on the planet P3W-451 nearing the event horizon of a black hole. 5 years later (only a few hours to the team), three members of the team were rescued by SG-1, though their fourth; Lieutenant Jonathan Reed, was lost when the planet was destroyed. This is regarded as one of SG-1's crowning achievements. (SG1: "A Matter of Time"), "Stargate SG-1: A Matter of Honor", "Stargate SG-1: The Cost of Honor").
The team continued their service, and served as reinforcements, along with SG-3, to secure P4S-237 when Mot had been defeated. (SG1: "Prophecy")
They also served as back-up, along with SG-3 and SG-12, when when SG-1 went missing. (SG1: "Zero Hour")
