Season ten of Stargate SG-1 began airing on July 14, 2006 on the US-American Sci Fi Channel. The final season of the series concluded after 20 episodes on March 13, 2007 on British Sky One, which overtook the Sci-Fi Channel in mid-season. Season 10 heavily featured the Ori invasion of the Milky Waygalaxy. With a tenth season Stargate SG-1 has passed The X-Files (1993) as the longest running scifi series on American television.
Four Ori warships arrive through the Supergate and wiped out most of the fleet protecting the Milky Way. Vala Mal Doran gives birth to Adria, who is growing quickly in order to spread the word of Origin. After the survivors of the battle are rescued, Stargate Command learns of the Ori's first target, Chulak.
An Al'kesh is shot down and crashed on Earth. The pilot; Ba'al, wants SG-1's protection from his clones, and for payback, he will help SG-1 search for the Sangraal. However, SG-1 plans to capture the clones first to see which one is the real one.
After a planet's population is wiped out for embracing Origin, they suspect the Dakara superweapon is responsible. Also, SG-1 uses their first opportunity at commandeering an Ori warship from the planet, but discovers the Jaffa have ideas of commandeering it for themselves.
Vala Mal Doran is kidnapped by The Trust, led by Athena, who once allied herself with Qetesh to get to the Clava Thessara Infinitas. Vala escapes, but loses her memories, and now works as a waitress in a diner. It is now a matter of who will retrieve her first, the Trust, or SG-1.
SG-1 travels to the planet where they believe the Sangraal is at to defeat the Ori. However, as soon as they arrive, Adria is hot on their trail, by posing as one of villagers to take the Sangraal away, but before they can get it, the have to pass a series of challenges, and finds Ba'al on the way.
After the loss of Dr.Daniel Jackson, SG-1 learn that P9C-882 is in the Ori's path. In order to protect the planet's village, they plan to use Merlin's Arthur's Mantle to cloak the entire village from the Ori, but doesn't go according to plan.
Dr.Daniel Jackson has been sighted, but unfortunately he is now a Prior of the Ori. After capturing him, Jackson attempts to convince SG-1 that he was made into a Prior to get Adria to trust him, so he could wipe out the Ori once and for all, by sending the Sangraal to the Ori Home Galaxy.
SG-1's efforts to weaken the Lucian Alliance forces Netan to place a bounty on each of their heads. While SG-1 go their separate ways to spend their time off, the bounty hunters are on their trail.
SG-1 travel to P4M-328 to recover the Clava Thessara Infinitas, but discover that the Stargate there is a museum piece without a working Dial Home Device, and they can't go back. Things get worse when they are spotted by the natives. Believed to be rebels, SG-1 is forced to hold everyone hostage.
The Illac Renin, a rogue faction of Jaffa who embrace Origin, has detonated several bombs on Dar Eshkalon, a new Jaffa stronghold. After recovering, and seeing Bra'tac gravely injured, Teal'c knows the Jaffa who is responsible, Arkad, and plans his revenge.
Vala Mal Doran's father, Jacek seeks sanctuary on Earth, where he quickly delves into his old scamming tricks. Meanwhile, Major GeneralHenry Landry plans to meet his ex-wife and daughter for dinner.
Adria is revealed to have survived the Sangraal and returns to the Milky Way. SG-1 use a cunning plan to capture her. However, their plan is thwarted when Ba'al gets her soon after, where he plans to make her relinquish some of her armies to his control.
The Odyssey travels to Orilla to get Asgard upgrades before their mass suicide. However, two Ori warships soon follow. After their shields fail, the only chance to save the ship is to activate a Time dilation field, where SG-1 will be stuck for the next 50 years.
