Sam Egan is a journalist & a writer for Stargate SG-1.

His most notable works include writing and producing the hit show "The Outer Limits", where he based the episode "Tribunal" on his father's (Leo) experience in Auschwitz, the camp in which Leo's first wife and daughter were brutally murdered by the Nazis.

Sam is also the writer of 8 episodes of Sanctuary starring Amanda Tapping.

Sam Egan is married to Jane Serlin (since 3 August 1980) and has two daughters and three grandchildren.
