A Shabti statue is an item used in Ancient Egypt. When Apophis' host was on the verge of dying, Dr. Daniel Jackson attempted to perform a ritual using a Shabti statue, so that the host's soul could return to his homeland after the body's death. However, Apophis was revived by Sokar before the ritual could be completed. (SG1: "Serpent's Song")
