[edit] SG-1

  • While being questioned by Major Robert Thornbird, Jack O'Neill says he is Luke Skywaker, one of the main characters of the series. Later, O'Neill tells Michael that SG-1 are aliens who came to hide on Earth "a long time ago", while Daniel Jackson says they're from "a galaxy far, far away". (SG1: "1969")
  • O'Neill and Teal'c bring pizza and the released copies of Star Wars over to Samantha Carter's house. Teal'c has seen them eight times, but O'Neill himself claims to have never seen them before. (SG1: "Ascension")
  • The design of the power core of Anubis' mothership and its destruction is a direct mirror of the design and destruction of the Second Death Star's core in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. The view from the F-302 after leaving hyperspace and skimming along the side of the mothership is also similar to the trench run in Episode IV: A New Hope. (SG1: "Fallen")
  • Daniel Jackson tells Tenat and Jup that he is Hans Olo, a reference to Han Solo, another of the main characters. (SG1: "Prometheus Unbound")
  • One of Joe Spencer's friends, Gordie, says that the Furlings sound like Ewoks, a species in one of the films. (SG1: "Citizen Joe")
  • Vala Mal Doran asks if any of SG-1 have heard of a situation where a women becomes pregnant without copulation, and Teal'c immediately says Darth Vader, the main antagonist of the series. (SG1: "Crusade")

[edit] Atlantis

  • When Jinto and Wex ask John Sheppard if they can go to Earth, Sheppard tells them he's from "a galaxy far, far away". (ATL: "Rising")
  • While piloting a Wraith Dart that goes on autopilot, Sheppard calls the dart "R2", as in R2-D2, a robot in the series, to shut off the autopilot. Nothing happens. (ATL: "The Lost Boys")
  • To avoid detection by the Hive Ships, Sheppard latched on his F-302 to one of those ships. He later told Ronon that he had that idea when he saw it in a movie once, refering to Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, when the Millenium Falcon latched onto a Star Destroyer to avoid detection. (ATL: "No Man's Land")
  • Sheppard called Ronon Dex "Chewie". (ATL: "Lifeline")
  • Sheppard said to Ronon "Easy, Chewie, those buttons are your friends", after seeing Ronon strike at the weapons console, which is reminisent to Star Wars, as Chewbacca often strikes the consoles. (ATL: "The Daedalus Variations")
