[edit] Ancient
The Ancients have stasis pods which do not cause complete stasis, but rather slow down the metabolic rate of the individual in the pod. They will still age, but at a significantly slower rate (around 1 year for every 200 years in stasis.) Elizabeth Weir went into stasis to preserve Atlantis by rotating the Zero Point Modules every 3,300 years. Aurora-class warships contain such stasis pods. Jack O'Neill was placed in a similar stasis pod in the Antarctic outpost to prevent his brain from being overwhelmed by the knowledge of the Ancients. Khalek was also contained within a stasis pod between his times in the DNA resequencer. They do appear to possess a more advanced version that does not age a person at all for even millions of years, as was used on Ayiana, but this may have just been some form of Ancient time-diallation technology used for the same purpose. The Asgard have also developed two types of stasis pods: one to hold a being of their size, and another to hold a being of human size. Asgard size stasis pods are capable of sustaining an Asgard in perfect hibernation, probably with around the same level of aging as Ancient ones (although each Asgard clone has a shorter life expectancy than a human,) and the pod is capable of surviving in the vacuum of space. They are also equipped with location devices to allow them to be found and rescued by nearby ships. (SG1: "Enemies", "New Order")

The Keeper was able to develop stasis technology and a virtual reality that kept his people safe and active while P7J-989 became safe to inhabit. There are certain doors with special markers that allow one inside the virtual reality to leave. However, even after the planet was healed, he didn't tell them it was safe, for fear they would destroy their world again. The charade was finally ended when SG-1 was forcibly taken, and exposed the Keeper's lies. (SG1: "The Gamekeeper")

In addition to a jar specifically designed to preserve a symbiote, the Goa'uld have developed pods which are capable of holding a person in stasis, cryogenically freezing them. If a host who is still undergoing the implantation process is frozen, the symbiote will be unable to take control of the host and will die. Additionally, the sarcophagus is capable of keeping one alive almost indefinitely, however the sarcophagus is based on Ancient technology. (SG1: "Hathor", "Out of Mind", "Into the Fire")

The Talthuns developed stasis technology for when their star destroyed Talthus. As their ships were incapable of faster than light travel, they developed a form of stasis that perfectly preserved the body, but also removed the consciousness from the body. If the body should die, the consciousness could be downloaded into another body. (SG1: "Lifeboat")

The Wraith spend roughly two centuries in stasis between cullings, during which the humans of Pegasus will repopulate their galaxy. Whether the stasis is solely to allow human population growth or is a biological need is unknown. While in stasis, they cannot be detected by a life signs detector. Because of the vulnerability the Wraith place themselves in by sleeping, a small group, lead by a Keeper, will guard them. If the Keeper should die, the rest of the hive will awaken. While inside the hibernation pod, there is a constant flow of fluids between the Wraith occupant and the Hive ship. The Wraith also use stasis technology to keep humans alive to be fed upon in the future, by cocooning them. (ATL: "Rising", "The Defiant One", "The Gift", "Infection")

The Eurondan civilization also made use of a large stasis room here they kept the majority of their civilization safe during their war against the Breeders on their planet. (SG1: "The Other Side")
[edit] Serrakin/Hebridian
The Serrakin introduced stasis technology to the Hebridian people after they rescued them from the Goa'uld. They use stasis technology aboard several of their vessels most notable the sebrus type ship, designed to transport criminals in stasis to a prison world, this relinquishes the need for a brig.
