Is this Expedition under the authority of Stargate Command, or is it seperate entirely?--GingerM 20:32, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Last time I checked it was under the Authority of the IOA. Raven's wing 17:51, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Definitely the IOA The Atlantis Expedition was meant to be an international conglomerate. 24.24.173.221 06:08, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

From my understanding its under both Oberoth20 (talk) (Contribs) 20:43, April 23, 2012 (UTC)

Interesting. I've never noticed Pegasus in the Atlantis Expedition logo. I always thought it was just a chevron.—Anubis 10545 01:45, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Patch Question[]

I've noticed that often people either don't have, or cover their patches...I can't tell which. Basically, where there should be a flag of their respective country, there is instead a blank, felt rectangle, or where there should be the Atlantis or SG-1 patches, there is a blank circle. Being that I'm Canadian and don't know much about military procedures, could anyone shed some light as to the reasoning here? —Ka'lel 19:15, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Sheppard and co often remove their patches, when offworld, perhaps for camourflage/hide their from Atlantis. I`m not sure, but Vala originally lacked some patches, since she originally wasnt part of the sgc or sg1. there was a scene (dont know the episode) where she was finally accepted as sg1-member and was given the official patches. And i am not sure if red really means command, Beside Weir, Carter, Teyla and woolsey, i think i have seen at least one more red woman (but i´m not sure) i have thought, red means diplomatic SG-27 (talk) (Contribs) 21:35, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Asgard[]

Added asgard as a race met in pegasus galaxy.

Leading nations[]

"The Atlantis Committee is composed of the representatives of several nations, but the leaders of the committee seem to be the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Russia, Australia and China."
Canada and Australia? I agree on the other ones, but I think neither Canada nor Australia are more important than e.g. the Czech Republic or Germany. --77.189.119.197 15:37, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

I don't know about Australia, but Rodney McKay is Canadian. —Ka'lel 06:11, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

secrecy[]

how is the "secret of atlantis" a "top priority"? Todd has been there several times, and most other wraith would already know that it exists... —Asdf1239 (talk) (Contribs) 11:31, February 18, 2010 (UTC)

Atlantis Personnel[]

My question is two fold, 1st part is how many people are part of the expiditon, and the 2nd part is how many people can live/ be stationed in Atlantis ?81.152.231.242 14:50, February 28, 2011 (UTC)

Disclosure?[]

Just curious, has it ever been mentioned how leading (l assume) scientists can just "disappear" from Earth? Have the Stargate programme been disclosed to the represented nations, or are they given a cover story? 217.211.53.9 22:49, October 11, 2011 (UTC)

It has been disclosed to the nations involved (due to Anartica) and if i'm not mistaken there apart of the IOA or something. Oberoth20 (talk) (Contribs) 20:38, April 23, 2012 (UTC)

Return to Pegasus?[]

This section the ambiuas cannon (sorry if spelled wrong) as from my understanding of the books some of them have consistancy errors in some of the books (including this one) Oberoth20 (talk) (Contribs) 20:36, April 23, 2012 (UTC)

Episode The Gift - Peter Kavanaghs Statement[]

In the episode The Gift (1x18), Peter Kavanagh said something like, "tens of thousands of life-sucking aliens in highly advanced spaceships on their way to destroy us. And we have what, 200 people? Most of whom are scientists who've never even fired a gun before?".  Could this be taken to be an approximate estimate of how many were in the Atlantis expedition that are at Atlantis or both the Atlantis expedition & the Athosians?
