why AtlantUs?
- Ancient pronunciation. I'll change it. -- SFH 19:02, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
where was the hyperdrive speed found or how was it calculated
if I remember correctly it was said that atlantis could make the trip from Earth to Lantea (approximately 3 million light years) in 4 days. Simple case of division —Fa6ade 16:44, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
The one I calculated was based on it taking what seemed about 5 hours to get to milky way and that was a 3 million light-year distance Sman789 18:17, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Seeing how there are discrepancies, we really shouldn't include the speed unless it is released by an official Stargate source... And even if there weren't discrepancies, that would still be the case.—Anubis 10545 19:20, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
- Although the point still stands that the Ancients have some of the fastest hyperdrives in the universe, and even though I am reluctant to tell the speed without the source, I more agree with Sman's theory of taking hours than days, like in "Enemy at the Gate", if the city took days, then why didn't the Wraith attack Earth there and then? Would they just sit there, tweedling their thumbs for four days? ;) -- Matthew R Dunn 20:49, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Hmm, fair point. Its possible I was thinking of the time taken for the daedalus to travel there with a zpm. —Fa6ade 16:40, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
