Battle Cruiser?[]

Yep, they say that it is Battle Cruiser. (at least in the acronym)

I always thought that the daedalus-class ships are the biggest ships that is possible, until i read that they are cruisers.

I'm thinking that they would build BattleShips after the cruisers, that would rival the size of a wraith hive ship, but seeing that Cruisers have superior weaponry above all(meaning they could penetrate every shield of every enemy) i see no possibility of bigger ships unless a new stronger threat is found at the new series....

Just thinking out loud here, no flames please -- StylaX 11:33, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

I guess the reason they don't build bigger ships is because of the limited supply of naquadah/trinium Earth has. --Scratzin 16:04, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

About BC-303[]

Isn't the BC-303 the designation of the Promethus? Therefore wouldn't the Daedalus be designated the BC-304. Also if that is the case then X-303 & BC-303 should redirect to Promethus_(ship).

I don't know, is it? If it is, then you could start making those redirects. We can always change if somethings goes wrong. Thanks for this opinion. I didn't know this. Peter R 08:22, 11 Dec 2005 (UTC)

The BC-303 is Prometheus's designatiom. Daedalus used to be BC-304. Now its DSC-304. User:Phoenix304

in fact, there has never been a designation outside of "304". "BC" and "DSC" are terms coined by fans—82.34.30.88 21:03, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
True...But, the term Deep Space Carrier is from Stargate Canon. In Off the Grid, when Col. Emerson and SG-1 are in the briefing room, the wall behind emerson shows it. User:Phoenix304
Oh my god... it actually does. Look here for the screenshot. I didn't even realize it said that.—Anubis 10545 05:21, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
The first time I saw the acronym, i thought "Daedalus Star Cruiser" , at the time i only knew one Daedalus type battle cruiser, then i saw the screenshot, tahnks Anubis. StylaX 11:27, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

F-302's[]

doesnt either the daedalus or the Oddysey only use 8 F-302s? Im pretty sure one of them doesnt use the full complent of fighters.....—Blaizen 20:35, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Daedalus doesn't use full complement, Odyssey may. User:Phoenix304

I take back the part about the Daedalus. In Search and Rescue, the 302's come out of both bays. - User:Phoenix304

Plasma Beams[]

Where did we get the idea of 4 emitters. First of all the beams in Unending came from multiple locations, not just 4. Beyond that, the Daedalus showed a rear emitter by firing backward at Michael's cruiser in Search and Rescue. You can say it's speculation, but there is no way the Daedalus could have turned that fast. User:Phoenix304

They didn't SAY that there was only 4 emmitters, it just said that that was how many were depicted in one particular episode.

I realize that noone ever stated that there were only four on the show. Actually, that's my point. All our articles say there are 4. I was just asking where we got that idea.User:Phoenix304

It would be nice if someone would answer me.
I would like to, but I have no idea. Probably no one else does either and it's just an arbitrary number someone made up... maybe.—Anubis 10545 05:15, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Crew Member Frank Levine (Adrift)[]

To my knowledge Daedalus was never in SGA: Adrift it was only the Apollo Oberoth20 (talk) (Contribs) 00:08, February 21, 2015 (UTC)

Height and width values[]

the height and width of the ship are clearly wrong, but are cited. from the front it looks clearly rectangular

from schematics i looked at it looks more like 38 to 145, which is a LONG way away from 75 95, wich in comparison looks almost square.

can someone find realistic values from a decent source, thats not just my guesswork?
