Population[]

I think we should put somewhere in this article that the population of the Destiny expedition is less then 80 as stated by Samantha Carter that 80 people were MIA when she was reporting back to O'Neil in the HWS base in the Pentagon. With the death of those on the Icarus Base as well as those who have died on Destiny, it is the most accurate number unless otherwise directly stated. ¥ Super Novice Talk 2 Me ¥ 19:38, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

As far as I know, the only person to die aboard the Destiny so far is Armstrong. Carter says "80+ MIA", so I think we should stick with that. She also already counted 12 dead at Icarus. It would be really helpful if they kept a tab, BSG style. Cheers Kal'el T | C - 19:45, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
There should also be a separate list of crewmembers who are dead or missing (since their arrival on Destiny). - 92.8.6.14 06:21, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

Casualty list[]

Rush isn't dead, there's no proof on it, so I am taking his name off the list. —Supakillaii (talk) (Contribs) 14:43, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

He isn't. Just like Palmer and Curtis. But at this point he is MIA --╔▲╠☼╚╡∩║⌠⅜⌡├┤∩ (talk) (Contribs) 15:24, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Did someone die during Space? It wasn't entirely clear. - Hivebrain (talk) (Contribs) 20:19, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

LA Characters[]

  • 1. Anyone know who 'Chen' is
  • 2. Should we add characters we know are going to be lucian alliance members in the second season or would that require the spoiler tag(Simeon & Ginn only ones i can name, i added them a while ago and they were removed).
You can add them if you want, use a spoiler tag though. If they were removed then it was probably because the editor didn't know that they had been confirmed as characters at the time, more human error on their part than breaking the rules on yours. Again the spoiler tag shows other editors not to remove stuff even if they havn't seen or read it yet. Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 20:17, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Off-world missions[]

As nobody objected about such section and form of giving this information, I suggest to move it into its own page --Глючарина (talk) (Contribs) 19:34, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

It doesn't need its own page, or even a section. There's a history section already. Note that the SGC and Atlantis expedition do not have comprehensive lists of every offworld mission. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:35, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Senior Members[]

Really? Is Chloe Armstrong considered a senior member? I understand she's a main character on the show, but her duties on the ship hardly constitute seniority. The rest are understandable, just thought I'd question here if there was a good reason she's listed as a senior member before the article is changed. Supertrinko (talk) (Contribs) 20:12, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Well she has influence - she has relationships with all the main people - but I would not list her as a senior member personally Sman789 (talk) (Contribs) 21:02, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Same with Eli Wallace (USA), Civilian -- sure he unlocked the 9th symbol and is smarter the Rush, but other then the Col. trusting him more then Rush and being on the Lt. team he has no training, is a MIT Drop-out what role does he do that Rush can not? Sr. Members are like:
Stargate SG-1

Stargate: Atlantis[]

Stargate Universe[]

Important Members (but not Senior) would be:

Stargate SG-1

Stargate: Atlantis[]

Stargate Universe[]

I think Sgt. Greer is concidered a sinior member cause he acts like the head of security on board Destiny. (granted it has never been mentioned) Oberoth20 (talk) (Contribs) 22:01, April 1, 2012 (UTC)

To Stargate SG-1 you forgot Dr. Janet Fraiser and in Atlantis Dr. Jennifer Keller are both senior members beacause both of them are chief of the medical crew, Fraiser could even override Hammond orders in a medical emergency

Table[]

The table really doesn't add much... but the article would be fine either way. However, the table will soon get out of control (length-wise) as SGU progresses, and so it would probably be best no not include it. —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 04:40, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

yes, as sgu progresses it will, but its not right now and we only will add one more in the first three eps Escyos (talk) (Contribs) 04:42, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Nevertheless, the fact remains that unless the show is canceled, it will grow and grow, and what it says is covered in the history section anyway. Covering every mission for this show and not others would not be consistent with how the articles are treated. More to the point, all it does is say the same thing, so why say it twice? — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:46, August 18, 2010 (UTC)

Adam Brody[]

Adam Brody is missing from the list...And i really don't recall any Greaster, Lincoln, Maloney,Manze,Peeze,Transolan

Expedition vs. "e"xpedition[]

A bit of a pet-peeve of mine as I noticed nearly all instances of it have been changed. It should be capitalized as Destiny Expedition, as that is the title of this unique group of people. They are not an expedition, they are the Destiny Expedition, or shortened as the Expedition. As in "the members of the Lucian Alliance now co-exist with members of the Destiny Expedition". "The Atlantis Expedition wars with the Wraith". Thoughts? Kal'el T | C - 19:47, October 6, 2010 (UTC)

Ronald Greer, Chief of Security?[]

I would like to know as to where someone would get the idea that Greer is the chief of Security on Destiny, although I'm not against Greer being concidered the Head of Security on Destiny there is to my knowledge no official source. Oberoth20 (talk) (Contribs) 17:58, May 8, 2012 (UTC)
