is this canon? because then we have to change a bunch of articles that say the goa'ulds power was "destroyed forever" after ba'al died —ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 04:13, March 22, 2010 (UTC)

Yes... it is canon - I can say with a fair amount of certainty. The Goa'uld power largely was destroyed forever... It's just that a few Goa'uld are trying to "drive back the night and rekindle the light of their civilization". (Andromeda reference :) . It would seem as though nothing really needs to be changed on a massive scale to reflect the subjects mentioned in SGR as the Goa'uld empire did fall. Although it would be erroneous to say that the entire Goa'uld presence in the galaxy ended after Ba'al, so some articles should be changed to reflect that (hope I didn't contradict myself there :). —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 04:25, March 22, 2010 (UTC)
ok theres a slight problem. according to this, ba'al is the leader of the new mind. i was under the fairly solid impression that ba'al was perma-dead. of course this could very well be a mistake on the part of the other wiki ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 05:57, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
Stargate Worlds is set just after Season 8 of SG-1. Ba'al is not dead at that time. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 20:09, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
