UNDER GOOFS?

When the scientists discover the swarm of the alien beings, a minivan can be seen driving by in the background. This can be seen on the DVD at approximately 22:43 (to the viewer's right/scientists' left).

the SGC has used the Stargate to transport the fighter planes F-302's to other worlds like the Alpha Site, Gamma Site ect. it's not hard to imagine that the Sci. Team requested a Van to travel arround the planet with. Chasemarc (talk) (Contribs) 03:44, June 6, 2013 (UTC)

Notes - Michael Shanks does not appear[]

In the notes section: "Michael Shanks (Dr. Daniel Jackson) does not appear in this episode... Consequently, it is also the first episode to feature only one character from the original film."

Michael Shanks was not in the original film, so this sentence does not make sense, unless I am misunderstanding it completely.

It does make sense. "one character" Character meaning Daniel Jackson, (other original movie characters being for example: O'Neill, Skaara, ect). Michael Shanks isn't a 'character'. He's an actor. But he plays "characters" like Daniel Jackson and Thor. Daniel Jackson WAS in the movie. The actor wasn't yes, but the character was. The Daniel in the movie and the Daniel in the show aren't two different characters just because two actors played him. McKayRulez (talk) (Contribs) 04:17, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Of course, you're right. I knew I must have been misunderstanding that statement.
