How does the triangular base of a Ha'tak land on the square base of a pyramid? -Asgard forever November 22 10:51

  • They have smaller square landings pads at the bottom. You can see it in Double Jeopardy. -- SFH 17:36, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
    • Then how do they land a triangular Ha'tak? --Asgard forever 10:16, 23 November 2007
    • I think the triangular base is one of the show's biggest visual errors. The ha'tak in Double Jeopardy actually has a four-sided pyramid in the shot when it lands in Double Jeopardy, but every other shot of the very same ship shows it with three sides. And we've seen computer graphics of four-sided ha'taks in several episodes — Fallen, for example — when all external shots of the ship the graphic is supposed to represent shows it with three. Short of assuming the fourth side retracts while in flight like the helmets of the Horus guards, I don't think there's any real explanation. -- Nomad 20:04, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
