Tass'an is one of the founders of a free Jaffa settlement on a planet called Sartorus. He was formerly a servant of the Goa'uld Heru'ur. He witnessed the destruction of his city at the hands of a Prior with his own eyes. He remains in the opinion that "if a Prior visits your world, leave". (SG1: "Babylon")

• Darcy Laurie previously played Cave-Dweller in the Stargate SG-1 episode "The First Commandment". He subsequently went on to play Airman Dunning on Stargate Universe.
