Tenat of the planet Oran was one of the two buyers interested in purchasing the stolen Prometheus from Vala Mal Doran (SG1: "Prometheus Unbound")

He and Jup later tried to get revenge on Vala and leave her to the Lucian Alliance which had a bounty out on her, but due to the collected efforts of Vala, Daniel Jackson, Teal'c and Cameron Mitchell, the traders did not succeed. (SG1: "The Ties That Bind")

Later, Tenat located the Odyssey, taking the information to Netan. While there, he recognized Cameron Mitchell, who used the Reol chemical make Netan think he was Kefflin. Mitchell used the Reol chemical on Tenat, making him think he was Netan. When the ha'tak they were on reached the Odyssey, Mitchell told Tenat to fire on Netan's ha'tak. Mitchell and Teal'c were beamed out, moments before Tenat's ship was destroyed by Netan. (SG1: "Company of Thieves")
