Tilgath was a minor Goa'uld who was alive during Anubis's reign of power.

He sent a large amount of troops to hunt down a Reol named Kaiael, who ended up hiding as a false fifth member of SG-1 (SG1: "The Fifth Man").

Seeing that he would not be able to survive against Anubis and his forces, Tilgath decided to form an alliance with Ramius, another minor Goa'uld. Choosing to meet on a neutral planet, the two Goa'uld brought with them a small number of Jaffa. Despite this protection, however, Tilgath and his Jaffa were killed by one of Anubis's Kull warriors along with most of Ramius's forces. Tilgath's body was later found by Teal'c and Bra'tac when they visited the planet (SG1: "Evolution, Part 1").
