Tolok was a male Jaffa who, after the death of his Goa'uld master Heru'ur, joined the Rebel Jaffa.

Biography[]

Background information[]

Tolok was once in the service of the Goa'uld Heru'ur, but after the death of his false god he managed to get in touch with Bra'tac and Teal'c. Having learned of their defection from Apophis' ranks, Tolok wished to join their fledgling Jaffa Rebellion. After joining the rebellion, Tolok was quick to recruit more Jaffa into the rebellion's ranks; mostly those who were previously in service to Heru'ur also. (SG1: "The DVD Collection 56")

By the time that the Replicators had went to war with the Goa'uld, Tolok had rose through the ranks to become one of the leaders of the Rebellion who met with Teal'c on Chulak to discuss a daring plan to win their freedom. After listening to Teal'c's plan to take Dakara from under Ba'al's nose while his forces were otherwise preoccupied, Tolok stated his concern that the plan would divide their forces and so, if they failed, it would inflict a great deal of damage to the rebellion. Indeed, Tolok was worried that the damage could destroy the rebellion itself if the plan failed. Tolok thought that, rather than retake Dakara, the rebellion should focus on their greater threat; the Replicators. Despite this, Tolok joined Teal'c in the attack on Dakara and, after an arduous fight that nearly saw the defeat of both Ba'al and the Rebel Jaffa, lived to see the Jaffa's victory. (SG1: "Reckoning, Part 1", "Reckoning, Part 2")

Mere days later, Tolok stood in amazement at the base of the Temple of Dakara and awarded both Teal'c and Bra'tac with the highest honor any Jaffa could receive; they were made Blood Kin to all their Jaffa brethren. During these ceremonies, Tolok stated that Teal'c and Bra'tac's bravery and courage had truly ushered in a new era of free Jaffa. What happened to Tolok after this remains unknown. (SG1: "Threads")

Stargate SG-1: The DVD Collection issue 56 states that Tolok is 170 years old. Whether or not that means that he is 170 years old as of the episodes he is in or of the publication date of the magazine is unknown, and so it is unclear what year he was born in.
