Toran was an Athosian who met with the Tau'ri when they arrived on Athos. He warned them not to go to the ruined city of the Ancestors, saying it would bring the Wraith. The Wraith did come, and Toran was one of those culled. Despite Colonel Marshall Sumner and Teyla Emmagan's requests to take them in his place, Toran was the first chosen to be fed upon by the Wraith Keeper. Sumner was later brought to a dining room with Toran's corpse in a chair. According to the Keeper, he begged for his life. (ATL: "Rising")
