A Turkey is a large bird that is native to Earth. Turkey meat is a popular item in many dishes.

In 2002, Teal'c ate an MRE that contained turkey in it while on a mission on P4X-233. (SG1: "The Other Guys")

In 2004, Major Samantha Carter packed turkey sandwiches for herself and Teal'c for their journey to Hala to contact the Asgard, recalling that turkey was Teal'c's favorite. (SG1: "New Order, Part 1")

In 2006, Turkey was included in the feast Major General Henry Landry offered to Nerus in exchange for information. He found it to be plump and delicious and initially confused it with chicken. (SG1: "Off the Grid")
