Living Gods: Stargate System Lords

Ulan-tze, designated P1D-555 by the Tau'ri, was a planet in the Milky Way galaxy that was ruled over by the Goa'uld System Lord Yu-huang Shang Ti. The Stargate is located 24 kilometers outside Kweilin City.

This planet is home to Queen Xiwangmu, Yu's former wife and remains crucial for both his interests in mining Naquadah and other metals needed in shipbuilding. The city of Kweilin is within 160 km of the Stargate, a central market and gathering place for the people on the planet. All trade goes through agricultural and industrial Kweilin. In the center of town is the Palace of the Golden Peaches, home of the Queen.

There is a permanent troop of Jaffa bodyguards protecting her all the time, both for her safety and the security of the sarcophagus and other technology, as Yu Huang ShangTi has entrusted his queen with storage of these artifacts. The technology level of Kweilin's population has been kept to the Renaissance with them outside the city closer in line with the early and late medieval periods.

Far beyond the immediate reach of their Overlord, nomadic hunters and herders eke out an existence on the steppes in the mountains in Taiyuan province but in the surroundings of the capital city, population, a strict but healthy lifestyle because of the treatment of rich deposits of Naquadah in the foot and their use in Yu's weapons-building facilities. Five active Naquadah mines in the low hills and ten sporadically worked iron, quartz and gold mines in the upper plains supply over 30% of Yu's mineral resources per year. Travelers from Stargate considered strange and unexpected creatures and considered with great caution if no references from Lord Yu and one of his closest advisers are available for review.
