Ursini member was an Ursini from the Ursini colony. It was one of dozens of Ursini on board the Seed ship they had found drifting in space.
The Ursini member spent many years in a Ursini hibernation pod but was awoke by the Tau'ri when the Destiny expedition come on board the ship. It made it to the control room and found Dale Volker and initiated first contact.
It collapsed to the floor, and was awakened when Lt. Tamara Johansen tried to examine it. It also tried to communicate with the Tau'ri, but they did not understand it.
The Destiny expedition offered it dried Fruit, but the Ursini didn't like the taste and spat it out. It tried to steal the power reserves on the Destiny, but was stopped.
Colonel David Telford was left behind and it then began working with him to launch the ship again. It died after it found out their colony was destroyed by a Control Ship. It and its comrades committed suicide as their allies were able to escape. (SGU: "Awakening", "Resurgence", "Deliverance")
