Hello, I'm Kevin, residing in Portsmouth, England right now. I've been watching Stargate for quite some time, I've enjoyed all of SG1 and SGA, movies included, and I look forward to Universe as well. This is one of the first wikis that I've made any real amount of contribution to, because it's one that I feel confident in my understanding of the topic enough to consider what I contribute to be factual. :) I also enjoy Star Trek and various other Science Fiction shows, but Stargate is definitely the one I'm best familiar with the canon of! I can be reached, if you really want to, pretty easily using information found here!

I thoroughly enjoy extrapolating in-universe information not expressly mentioned in the show from the existing canon and debating about it on Talk pages. I've got lots of theories on how the technology works as a result of this. I like to approach the whole thing from an "in-universe" perspective and am rarely satisfied with out-of-universe answers such as "because it was written that way" or "because it was cheaper to do it that way", regardless of how true that fact may be. I'm happier with my crazy extrapolations of how stuff might work, until something in the show tells me I'm wrong and I have to re-think it all.
