Various theories, questions, and what have yous I have accumulated about Stargate over the years.
- Jack O'Neill: Former drug addict?
- Mentions he "knows what its like" when Daniel is going sarcophagus withdrawl in Need
- Says the Blood of Sokar reminded him of the seventies in The Devil You Know
- Says he's done the whole strapped to a bed and drugged thing in Divide and Conquer
- Conclusion: Who knows? The whole series can seem like a drug induced fantasy sometimes.
- Atlantis the spaceship the Ancients fleed the Alteran-Ori home galaxy in?
- Evidence seems to point to Atlantus being the capital of Ancient Earth, which appears to have been the capital of the Ancient Domain in the Milky Way
- O'Neill seems to say "Terra Atlantus" in a tone of reverance in Lost City, Part 2
- Stargate located in Antarctica, where Atlantis was located
- Morgan Le Fey described Proclarush Taonas as "one of the first Lantean cities" in The Pegasus Project
- Conclusion: Possible. More evidence required.
- Celestis: Actual planet or different dimension?
- Daniel and Vala travelled from Ver Eger to Celestis via ring transporters in Origin
- Gerak and Prior travelled there without any form of transportation other than the Priors staff in The Fourth Horseman, Part 1
- Ori are visible in ascended form
- Questions about the Doci and the Priors would have to be asked
- Conclusion: Uncomfirmed at this time. Ascension makes my head hurt.
- Jack and Sam: Having an affair since his promotion?
- When Malcom Barret asked if she was seeing anyone in Ex Deus Machina, she replied "Not exactly"
- Carter was vaguely amused by the prospect of her and Jack getting married in 200, while O'Neill looked slightly perturbed
- Conclusion: It's been ten years. Either make it happen or...or...cancel the show...Wait a minute...
- Ancient homeworld named Altera?
- Original name Alterans
- Conclusion: Probably.
- Rodney McKay a hypochondriac?
- Claims to have been one during his college years in Instinct
- Quite skilled at self-diagnosis
- Constantly claims to be suffering from one allergy or another
- Conclusion: Signs point to yes.
- Tak the Goa'uld word for ship?
- Conclusion: Possible. More evidence required.
- Jonas dead by producer action?
- Fate unknown following Ori assault on Langara in Counterstrike
- Not mentioned in series since Citizen Joe
- Noticeably absent from 200
- Conclusion: I hope not. I actually like Jonas.
- Ancients had an active role in the creation of the Wraith?
- Ancient hyperdrives appear to be compatible with Wraith hyperdrives, as evidenced in Aurora, Allies, and No Man's Land
- Minimum amount of five million years it took Iratus bug to evolve into Wraith seems rather short
- Wraith possess impressive telepathic abilities, something most human races lack, though it is possible the Iratus bug possessed a similar such hive mind
- Wraith language is derivative of Alteran, as evidence in The Gift
- Wraith dart and Goa'uld death glider (in Movie) have similar sounding engine whine
- Conclusion: Past experience is indication that when the Ancients screw up, they screw up big.
- Robert Kinsey a Republican?
- Senator from Indiana, a notoriously conservative state
- Frequently quotes the Bible such as in Politics and Chain Reaction
- Believes the United States Military is superior to every other military, including the Goa'uld Fleet
- Conclusion: Probable
