Lucid stands for lucid dreaming.

Fox used to stand for Firefox, but now... just fox :). Now that I'm out of the closet, at least.

It's also a not-so-obscure reference to Lucius Fox.

(As a side note, is this fox having a lucid dream?)

Seek ye not these false lucid foxes, those that appear on MySpace (which I hate), some blogs nobody cares about, and else. Only lucidfox.org (the first result, thankfully) and its subdomains refer to me.

I imagine LucidFox as a kitsunemimi character rather than a full-fledged anthropomorphic animal.

Basically myself without the glasses, and with fox ears and tail. (Given my hair color, though, I'm not sure if it would look weird or not.) In an orange and light blue shirt, because I like to combine these colors.

Contrary to popular belief, they seem to be modest, friendly and tolerant people. I don't consider "furry" an insult and I'm quite surprised when someone tries to use it as one. #wikifur - unlike, say, #uncyclopedia - has a pleasant feeling of camaraderie and unity. And not in the sexual sense. In fact, 99% of the time you won't see any yiff there.
