Re: Mooney
Edit
I don't know if Marissa Smith, credited as Female Airman, is in fact Mooney. It could very well be, as the role amounted to little more than an extra (no lines and was on screen for 5 seconds). I googled Marissa Smith but there wasn't an actress listing or a picture to confirm it is the same person who played Mooney. As for her rank, I am certain. In those 5 seconds she is on screen, she runs past the camera giving a clear view of the insignia patch on her arm. Cheers.

- At the end of the episode, Young was in the body of someone named Lucas to assault Telford. Earlier in the episode, when he first confronts Telford and his wife, he is the body of someone named Roberts. Both Roberts and Lucas are Airmen, 1st class. Cheers.

Infoboxes
Edit
A few things regarding infoboxes. Ranks are not required in infoboxes, but are welcome if the character is not given a full name. Adding ranks just adds to the clutter, especially when it forces the credit/name to a second line. Also, please do not add links to every character. Not every character is important enough to warrant their own page, and it invites people like Sam (DannyJackson) to go nuts with unneeded pages that end up empty because there's no information on the character. Use your own discretion in deciding if a character needs their own page, the rule of thumb is that if three sentences of solid information can be written about them, then a page is warranted. Cheers.

Moving pages
Edit
When you move pages, you simply can press the "Move" button at the top of the page, which is just a few buttons to the right of the "Edit this page" button. It's a lot simpler than cutting and pasting info onto the new article from the old one and leaving behind a redirect.—Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 04:10, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
Last name
Edit
Haha no way... is your last name really Jenkins? :D?

Deletions
Edit
Hello. When you nominate a page for deletion, as you did with Keffler and Keffler (Lucian Alliance), please insert the template: {{delete}} onto the page. That way, it puts any article with that template on it in the deletion category. Otherwise, myself and other administrators have no way to find it to delete it. Thanks! —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 01:27, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
Categories
Edit
The articles you added to the Tau'ri category are already in other categories that are subcategories of the Tau'ri category... making the addition of the tau'ri category to those articles unnecessary. —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 03:11, April 7, 2010 (UTC)
images
Edit
Please remember to categorize images that you upload by what episode they're from. Thanks! —Anubis 10545 (talk) (Contribs) 02:57, April 22, 2010 (UTC)
Minor edits
Edit
Please mark your minor edits as minor. If you don't want to do every single one manually, you can go to your Preferences, Editing tab, and check the box beside "Mark all edits minor by default". Cheers.

Mispelled redirects
Edit
Names, places etc do not require redirects for misspellings anymore, thanks to the "Did you mean" feature. For instance, typing "Tamara Johanson" in the search box will bring up "Did you mean Tamara Johansen?", so that redirect page is unnecessary. It also prevents people from misspelling the name when linking in other articles if they get a red link instead of a redirect page. Cheers.

could you chuck in a cite of which episode the unnamed atlantis technician is from, just in case someone (probably me) can locate info about them quicker.....You have no clue how frustrating it was trying to find some of those people there.....

Daedalus Variations - SGA, Season 5 Episode4 - Possible goof not listed.
Edit
Hi. I've added a few things I've noticed to the site before, but that was things that already had a category. I'm not very well versed in wikis, so I don't know how to make new categories/headers, so I figured I'd mention something that might be a goof, and if you felt it was, you could add it.
On the episode "Daedalus Variations", the Daedalus has a plaque (on the bridge soon after they come aboard) that reads:
"Advanced Tactical Deployment
Deep Space Defence
U.S.S. Daedalus
Fast Attack Wing"
"Defence" is the British spelling of the word. Perhaps it is spelled this way because the show is filmed in Canada, and British English is predominant there, if I'm not mistaken. But seeing as the Daedalus is a United States vessel, it would more than likely be spelled "Defense".

Wikipedia linking

Gabrielle Rose is an article about a real-world individual who does not exist in-universe. It should not link to an in-universe article about Canada. ASDF1239 DISCUSSION 05:57, October 5, 2010 (UTC)
Aftermath
Edit
She wiped a tear off Scott's face near the end. I'll add that. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 05:01, October 6, 2010 (UTC)
- The updates to Air were mostly from memory or grammar issues/awkward wording, but I can update the others. It helps that being overly specific isn't terribly necessary. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 07:57, October 6, 2010 (UTC)

Dead people
Edit
Michaels was the guard, he's dead. Henderson, too. Graham was going to survive. Ginn's dead, obviously, so she's the third. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 22:17, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
- Simeon killed his guard, which was Michaels. Then Ginn. He shot Dunning and one other guy at the armory. He shot that guy at the gate room. But there were four wounded, Dunning included, Henderson being the one that died. When I look at it, I'm not sure where the fourth came from. Young might have included Perry in his initial count, now that I think of it. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 00:30, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, now I see, there were two near the gate room and two by the armory. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 04:57, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks I misspelled Shan'auc name...
Edit
If you think the pictures I added for her cannot be used, please delete them too.

Why?
Edit
Why are you removing the wikipedia link to Sun Tzu on the Daedalus-class battlecruiser Sun Tzu article? That link is meant to go there, just like all of the other Tau'ri ships linking to their respective mythological or historical namesake's wikipedia article. Any particular reason you removed my "Goof" regarding Grogan's rank on the Exodus page? It seemed to me to be relevant and interesting. Please advise. -Randy (talk) (Contribs) 23:12, March 15, 2011 (UTC) Oops. Never mind, I just realized I somehow put it on the wrong page. Guide.
Edit
Sheppard is not known as "Guide", it is Todd, who is known as "Guide" among the Wraith, type "Guide" into the search, or read some of the books.
No where in "Homecoming" is Sheppard refered to as Guide, the author claiming so after the book is written is dubious at best, if it had been said in the book there may be some validity to it, but the only one who is refered to in it as that is Todd.
If the books are considered canon then a wiki should only include that which is established explicitly in them, not the afterthoughts of the author.
- Give that a quick read. The author's word is as good as the book itself. They wrote it, after all. — Trust not the Penguin (T | C) 07:55, March 19, 2011 (UTC)
Hey!
Edit
We are starting another - canon only wiki : http://stargate-sgc.wikia.com/wiki/Stargate_Wiki! This will not be a brand new wiki, idea is to separate main canon free from the novel/roleplaying game/etc. materials, both wikias will have links to each other, so basically there will be two wikias - one for canon only materials, second for both canon and non canon materials. This is intended to end canon - non canon wars. You are welcome to join and and help to make canon only wiki by moving templates, artecles and pictures and making some new. how dare you change the asgard bomb bays you had no right to do so i made that because i thought it would be awsome but no so stop changing what im creating or i'll tell
DEFAULTSORT function
Edit
Hi there, was just wondering if you could use the {{DEFAULTSORT:Surname, Firstname}} function before the categories rather than adding the surname of people to the category? It's a better function and means any future categories will be auto-sorted. Thanks. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 18:48, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
</nowiki> issue

Hello, i need you knowledge of wikia templates/code.
iv returned to the stargate wikia to find this issue (below) on each of the 'timeline pages'... were an event has been citied to an episode. do you know what's going on? i think it has something to do with the template.

Response...
Edit
Okay, firstly: the link you left on my talkpage doesn't apply, since it talks about a different subject (thanks for directing me there, though, since I wasn't smart enough to read the Manual of Style before I started editing); secondly, regardless of what this says, past events—even when discussed in universe—should be in past tense because, unless they're ongoing, they've only happened once (if they were ongoing, I would use present tense) (and I say "should be" because it makes a lot more sense when something that's already happened—even in universe—is mentioned); thirdly, even if it makes the pages a bit longer, when something has a direct link, that's what I would prefer to use... Marshall Sumner Alternate Fate
Edit
How drowned in Marshall Sumner alternate timeline?
Drowned in a room three floors below the control room?
You know that doesn't help me as you aren't telling me how they are incorrect. Thor's Chariot has the planet of Cimmeria that is part of the Protected Planets treaty category. Also there is the Bilsilker which is part of the Asgard fleet category. Tell me how those are wrong instead of just making a blanket statement.
SciFi Channel's podcasts of The Siege I & II
Edit
A month ago, you inserted into The Siege, Part 1 something from SciFi Channel's podcast. They're no longer on the website and I believe different from the DVD commentaries. Do you have them and would you mind sharing them? CIC (talk) (Contribs) 20:23, February 4, 2013 (UTC)
- That's okay. It *is* different though, right? If I remember right, it doesn't have Hewlett or Flanigan. CIC (talk) (Contribs) 02:59, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
Hey i saw you reverted one of my revisions about the quote of the genii. Im just wondering why you did that?
Im sending this message again because I realised I was loged out and unable to recieve your reply. Im just reiterating. Why did you revert my edit on the Genii quote?
