[edit] In-universe perspective
Please read SGCommand:Manual of Style. In-universe articles should not contain references to production, such as "season four", except for "Behind the scenes" sections. For that matter, "Behind the scenes" is written like this, the "s" is not capitalized. - Sikon 13:26, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your Dreams
You have some pretty cool dreams. (For example your latest post on your user page). Anubis 10545 04:30, 23 May 2008 (UTC).
Wow, that dream you just posted sounds crazy. However my mind stays un-blowed, well sort of :) Anubis 10545 18:03, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comment. Matthew R Dunn 20:34, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm reverting the Qetesh article back to the way I had it. My source is the movie itself: I found it on YouTube: the entire thing is there, or at least it was the last couple of nights and I watched. Excellent movie by the way.
- That was all I need. I appreciate you telling me. :) Matthew R Dunn 20:34, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for cleaning up after me - I'm still finding my feet here :-) Richard Jackson 14:55, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Please understand that I might not do it forever, because I usually have my own projects to do, just take a read at the SGCommand:Manual of Style, as this page will help you, helped me lots. :) Matthew R Dunn 15:12, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Genii Rifle
The picture of the Genii rifle you posted is incorrect. That is a Satedan triple-barreled rifle last I checked the Satedan rifle article did not have any pictures so you can move it there. If you can find any pictures about the rifle I was talking about and post it on the page that would greatly help. Also I would like your opinion. Those small double barreled pistols used by the Genii, but are later found by Ronon on Sateda, what should they be classified as, Genii or Satedan?User:Mckay clone 301
- I think that both Genii and Satedan weapons are both, more or less exactly the same. So unfortunately, I honestly have no idea how to answer that question. Also, I think that both the Genii rifle and the Satedan triple-barrelled rifles are the same too. In other words, I am defending my decision about keeping the image there, but if you want to, you could move it yourself. Matthew R Dunn 17:24, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- I've put the picture back in and moved the article to the name given in Stargate Atlantis: The DVD Collection 66. If anyone wants scans of the pages which mention the shotgun (and the pistol as well) then I'll be more than happy to scan them. —Jaymach Ral'Tir (talk) 18:13, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good, thank you. Matthew R Dunn 21:27, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Meredith
- Jaymach did not agree, but he stopped responding. I could use another viewpoint for this, too. I don't understand why this is even a problem. This has been policy both here and on Wikipedia for years. Why has this suddenly been called into issue? (The only reason I did not mention this the first time the page was moved to Jonathan J. O'Neill was because I didn't notice at the time. I still consider it a recent change, and the fact that it was left uncorrected for a while does not make it any more correct.) —Marco Polo 02:31, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- I suppose you're right, it's just that since you returned, I noticed an alarming amount of pages being moved, and I thought the odd one was wrong, so I reverted the name back to its full name. I still however believe that Meredith Rodney McKay be kept that way, because he was still addressed by his first name by his sister quite often, and by some of his colleagues as a means to wind him up. [edit] About the Atlantis Summary project
Hello There. First of all, thanks for being patient and going through the two summaries I have so far. In light of that, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind being the designated person to proofread and add links to my summaries, as I am not very good at doing either on my own.
If you could do this, that would be most appreciated. --Nmajmani 12:22, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- Of course, I would be happy help. -- Matthew R Dunn 13:15, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Alright then. I usually add one summary every one or two days. And Thanks!. :) --Nmajmani 14:37, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Stargate timeline
Hello
iv been updating the Stargate timeline, adding lots information that missing, which has taken me many many hours. if you have any problems with any of the changes i have made, or want to ask me anything please message me.
Jeff
p.s;- ill be double check the hyperlinks and reference/cites to ensure there are no errors or none missing.
[edit] Re: Atlantis Project
Yes, I am planning to continue the project. I was recently handed a ton of work at my office recently, but hopefully will get up Thirty Eight Minutes and Suspicion by Sunday, maybe tomorrow if I have time. I'll let you know when they go up. --Nmajmani 14:54, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Ok, cool. Thanks for letting me know. :) -- Matthew R Dunn 14:57, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
I felt you should know something about the project. I'm going to be skipping 38 minutes for now because I can't find a suitable way to intergrate the flashbacks into the main summary. Therefore, the lack of a new summary is intentional, and I thought you should know in advance. I'll probably write the summary for Childhood's End in it's place. --Nmajmani 19:00, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
That's fine, I often have trouble with flashback driven episodes myself, namely when writing Sunday and The Shrine (good thing I don't write episode summaries in Lost :)). Don't worry about it for now, you can go ahead in doing others and get back at Thirty-Eight Minutes later. -- Matthew R Dunn 19:09, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Stargate timeline
thankyou for looking at the Stargate timeline and moving things into the correct section. iv just got a book that will help me a lot with this. its going to take a few weeks until everything is perfect, but thankyou once again for your help.

[edit] Fran
I like the whole FRAN thing you have going on on your usepage.—Anubis 10545 22:51, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, I just wanted to fill that gap of nothingness in the middle of the page, and thought immediately of her. I thought having a laugh or two would help the situation even more. Although, technically, it was your idea, sort of, with those images of yours on your user page. But again, thanks. -- Matthew R Dunn 23:14, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Changes
I appreciate any additions you make to pages I've created or edited, but let's not get into a p*ssing match, shall we. I'm just a newbie here, and it may be standard procedure around here, but it's a little annoying seeing your changes on every page I've contributed to. I may be out of line, I don't know. We obviously are interested in the same aspects of Stargate. Cordially, Qzk1718 12:43, 30 September 2008 (UTC)Qzk1718
- I'm sorry about this. It's just that I tend to edit after newbies until they are good at editing (not that I'm saying your edits are bad). I have complete faith that you would soon edit edit in a way that I don't have to edit after you. I'm sorry if I went into a p*ssing match. And if you mean out of line by this message you posted to me, don't give it a second thought. I appreciate you telling me about this. -- Matthew R Dunn 13:02, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. It may be just that we have different styles in what we think the pages should look like. Just keep that in mind when looking at my edits, and I'll do the same.Qzk1718 14:05, 30 September 2008 (UTC)Qzk1718

[edit] about Kwwsucks
Hi this is Leonhart178 or Tau'ri278 (on Wikipedia)
I thought you should know a little about Kwwsucks that i found out from talking to Kww.
Kwwsucks, started as 'leonhart' and wrote some pretty dumb stuff to Kww and RedFarmer. He was banned and lost for a while and then came back as 'Zbeeblebrocks' (i think that is how it is spelled), saying he was reformed. He was not banned for Sockpuppetry thanks to a self appointed 'Mentor' meaning well toward 'Zbeeblebrocks'. And he was lost for a while only to fins the thing about making an article about 'air' which he did. So if you want to ban him, i agree to it. If you don't, well you know this guy might be a butt kind of person.
All good intentions, live long and prosper
Leonhart178 02:05, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, thanks for bringing that up. Forgive the lateness of my reply, since you caught me sleeping. I fully agree with you. Unfortunately, I can't ban anyone due to the fact that I'm not an admin, though I am kind of thinking of being one soon (maybe sometime after Christmas) and if I am one, I'd ban anyone with nasty intentions when joinign this site such as Kwwsucks here. Any way, when I checked recent changes just five minutes ago, I noticed SFH has banned him already. I appreciate you telling me about Kwwsucks' Wikipedia past, I guess Tigers never change their stripes. Enjoy your time here :) -- Matthew R Dunn 10:50, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Episode Reordering
Hey there. I took the liberty of updating the episode texts to reflect your edits to the order of the broadcasted episodes. I thought you should know, they're still in the "incorrect" order in the mediawiki:monaco-sidebar, which I don't have the authority to edit. In any case, it looks like you're ordering them in the order they aired, which matches the chronological order on the DVDs. However, (and this is not just a question for Matthew as I've been wondering about it for a while), the intended/chronological order of season 1 episodes is still very different from what we have listed here, and I was wondering what the stance is on this? Could it be changed, and if not, possibly a note be added to the season 1 page to let people know the intended order for the episodes, despite the order they first aired in? Cheers.—Ka'lel 00:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Firstly, the way you've been organizing the episodes looks really nice. About the episodes, we should put them in the order in which they aired... not any other way. I'll correct the sidebar.—Anubis 10545 02:55, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you, though I am slightly confused which order the second season is aired, because Wikipedia and TV.com use one order (the order I used), but for some reason, GateWorld and the IMDb gives it completely different order for the four I rearranged. I wish I had season 2 on DVD to settle a score, but the earliest I have is season 5. -- Matthew R Dunn 17:12, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- I can tell you right now, and I'm sitting here with the booklet in hand, that the way you ordered it is the chronological/DVD order for season 2. —Ka'lel 17:20, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Good, I'm glad to hear it. :) -- Matthew R Dunn 17:35, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

dude, nice page. love the part about FRAN and its true. lol, where is Fran anyways? there she is. nope, she's gone again.—SupremeCommander 03:11, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Collection
With your collection of Stargate material, it's a lot larger than mine. I only have the Stargate movie on VHS, and the other 2 SG-1 movies on DVD... aside from the few random episodes I have saved to my Tivo :). I just though that was worth mentioning as you made it sound like you thought it was small in your edit summary (not that I was looking :). Good day, and as you watch Dr. Who, that Christmas special was pretty good.—Anubis 10545 19:00, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I thought last year's Xmas special was better (not saying this one was bad, it was still good) and my favourite of Xmas night though was the new Wallace and Gromit. Anyway, I have about six Atlantis season 4 episodes in HD on Sky Plus, which is like the UK version of Tivo. Plus, I'm not really ashamed that the collection is relatively small, just that it's smaller to some other SG fans. I am satisfied with just the way it is, and I am seeking to expand it (slowly), but due to the fact I'm a little streched with money for now, I'll put it on hold. -- Matthew R Dunn 19:38, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Well, I've set my Tivo to record several of the better Atlantis episodes in the coming weeks when SCi Fi channel runs the Atlantis marathon. With Dr. Who though, wasn't that great just before the opening when they both said "Allonsy"... well, kind of, I thought it was funny. —Anubis 10545 19:44, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- That's funny, Anubis, I had actually written a message similar to your first one, when I accidently closed the window and said "screw it, I'm not typing it again." In any case, Matthew, your collection is impressive. I own every SG-1 episode only because I bought this monstrosity a few months back, and the original movie was thrown in for free in the deal. Other than that, I only physically own Ark and Continuum. I downloaded the first four seasons of Atlantis (DVDs) and have been downloading season 5 in 720p (which is how I'm able to upload quality pics) only because it airs in Canada way later than in the States. I figure the series is ending soon, and the "monstrosity" equivalent will be released soon after. And that's it. I've never read nor owned any books or any other merch. Cheers. —Ka'lel 00:59, 29 December 2008 P.S. It's really hard to grasp how big 54 DVDs looks until it's right in front of you. That's a lot of DVDs.

[edit] Atlantis Project update.
Hello there. I'm sure you remember how far back I decided to reqrite all the episode summaries for Atlantis. I know that I have neglected the project, in part due to my getting caught up in watching all the episodes so I could see the series finale on the air. However, I plan to restart the project, with new summaries up by Saturday.
I was wondering if it would be possible for you to please start scrubbing through the summaries already available, and determine which ones do not require replacing. This would be most helpful, and thank you in advance. --Nmajmani 17:38, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's good to know you are starting again, but it is fine that you are pretty busy in real life, since I am a patient man. I'd say all season 4 eps, as well as Sunday, First Strike and Search and Rescue to Outsiders, The Prodigal and Vegas would already be complete, but then again, nothing will stop you from adding or removing stuff, or dare I say even replacing the more or less completed ones I mentioned anyway, should you think you could make a better version of them. -- Matthew R Dunn 19:14, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Your page
I accidently deleted your page, sorry Matthew. Ive replaced it with the last version before i accidently overwrote it. As i was hitting backspace through my pages, I didnt realise i was editing your page opposed to mine. See I was taking a few intriguing page layouts from your profile, not a good way to start is it?
All apologies, Benxander 16:14, 11 January 2009 (UTC)benxander
- It's OK, I forgive you, thank you for undoing your mistake, just be sure to take a little extra care next time. :) -- Matthew R Dunn 16:23, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
[edit] P90, MP5, MP7 Revision
I was just wondering why you undid my updates to the P90, MP5 and MP7 Articles. Regards. 211.28.63.134 09:28, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- Didn't I just leave you message why, and also did so on one of the edit summaries, they haven't been mentioned on the show, we only take in infrormation that has, or from various Stargate sources. If you add the information without citing the episode you heard it from, or other Stargate sources, then it'll be reverted again. -- Matthew R Dunn 09:31, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Subpages
How do you create subpages? I've tried everything... (I need it for my user page on another wiki...)
Thankful for help,
/-/Jetscream 14:57, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's actually quite simple. All you need to do is add "/" right after your username (for instance, type down "User:Jetscream/subpage" (bit after the dash is optional of course)) on the search thing, and then you can create one from there. -- Matthew R Dunn 15:01, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks!
/-/Jetscream 16:24, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Leaving notes on User Pages
Thank you for your comment however if it was intended to imply I performed an error in my edit of the page, I must state otherwise. I quote from the page I edited (highlights added).
When voting, you can vote For or Against (please provide a reason if voting against, and preferably if voting for as well). Or you can add a Comment without actually voting. You can vote for any number of entries at once, but only with one vote per entry.
If you wish to require reasons given for any votes, then may I suggest you or someone who has the authority to make such a change update the page to reflect that wish. Good speaking with you. Emodeathmachine 21:34, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, in my point of view, it is normally common sense to add a reason, despite how typical they might sound (including, "it is a good article/image/quote") So I may go ahead and add the note like "add your vote and state the reason why" bit, if that is what you are referring to. Also, no-one really has any authority, as this wiki is for, well, anyone who likes Stargate or even use this to consider being Stargate fans. Good day. -- Matthew R Dunn 22:18, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Tense on the Goa'uld language article
I noticed that you changed some of the tenses I changed on the page from this: The Goa'uld language is spoken by the Goa'uld and Jaffa.
to this: The Goa'uld language was spoken by the Goa'uld and Jaffa.
I don't believe this to be merited. All of the goa'uld have not been killed/exterminated yet, and there are still minor ones out there that may still speak the language. Also, the change also applies to the following targate noun, Jaffa, which still speak "Goa'uld", even during the Jaffa rebellion. --meghunter99 16:10, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Star Gallery
Regarding your star gallery, I was watching "24" the other night and on Day 5 from 3:00-5:00am, the person who plays Netan also plays "Agent Davis". Although he was probably shown on screen for a combined total of 30 seconds... but I thought I'd mention it... seeing as how you watch 24...—Anubis 10545 08:27, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I haven't seen much 24 in a while, so far I'm just following the new season. Thanks though, but I thought I'd only do characters who were in quite a lot from the shows, as I notice that there are quite a few 24 characters that I have identified from Stargate as well (such as Shanks, Trinneer was very recent, the guys who played Col. Everett, Kanaan, Tomin, Coombs etc) and I'm still missing some from other shows, as well as the fact that some characters (Anteaus, who we may know was played by Quark from Star Trek; DS9) don't have images. -- Matthew R Dunn 12:44, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I figured that would be the case (him being such an obscure and minor character). I'm only up to day 5 though so far... watching them on Netflix.—Anubis 10545 17:40, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Today
Just thought i'd wish you a happy birthday!—Anubis 10545 19:46, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Qetesh
Stargate Continiuumm declared qetesh baal's queen. Which if you had any since would understand means she was his Goa'uld Queen in the Alternate Reality Hence It was under the Headline Alternate Queens.
- But was she mentioned to be able to spawn infant Goa'uld? The Goa'uld Queen article contains information about that, but out of all the times I've seen the movie, I did not hear that at all. Also, other editors have reverted it as well. -- Matthew R Dunn 22:19, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Episode image categories
Yay... Nice job. We (although mostly you) finally finished those episode image categories...—Anubis 10545 19:14, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Hi :)
Hi Matthew,
My name's Karim. I'm on the Wikia entertainment team. I wanted to reach out, say hi, and let you know how awesome I think this wiki is! I started off as a huge Stargate fan when the original movie came out, but lost track of the series after SG-1. I completely agree that the mythology is what makes the series so special! Since I heard of Stargate Universe's upcoming release, I've been catching up on all Stargate info here and elsewhere. Are GateWorld and Joe's Blog your favorite sites outside this wiki, or are there other Stargate sites you like? Just curious :) Anyways, just wanted to say hello and let you know that i'm available if you have any questions or if you need any help building up the already amazing content you've got going here. Thanks! -- Karim
(talk) 22:43, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Karim, I'm glad that you follow this site and agree with me about the mythology. To answer your questions, GateWorld and Joe's Blog are some of my favourite sites outside this one, as they catch up with the latest from Universe, though Mallozzi is going on about his family reunion in Montreal (still a nice read though). Welcome to this wiki! Hope you enjoy contributing here. -- Matthew R Dunn 00:30, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] tables
do you know how to do 2 tables that are next to each other, but have a space between the 2 tables (so not joined)? i can only seem to do 2 tables joined together? thanks for your time, --Stargate TL1 00:11, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, you barked up the wrong tree, I have no idea, though the only way it could work for me right away is to have the two joined together. -- Matthew R Dunn 00:18, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Air, Part 2
Hey, thanks for undoing all those spaces. I honestly have no idea how or why that happened. I just went into the article, deleted the one letter (L) and saved. For some reason all those extra spaces were added and I didn't even notice. Cheers.
Kal'el T | C - 17:23, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
- No problem, I know it is not your fault. Did you edit using the new "rich text" rather than the old fashioned way, because I find that seems to cause some of the bugs. -- Matthew R Dunn (talk) (Contribs) 17:27, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Information about Stargate Universe
Hi there, mind I know where did you find the information about the Commander Kiva that you put in the summanry in the universe season 1. If so can you put the link here for me to check cause I had been searching the net and find nothing about it. -- Hafiedz (talk) (Contribs) 23:42, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
- The information can be found here. -- Matthew R Dunn (talk) (Contribs) 15:48, October 12, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Incursion Guest Stars
i got them from IMDB and Stargate Solutions. I remember reading on SG Solutions that Colonel Telford was going to be in it and i got the rest from IMDB.
[edit] Quotes Section
You sir have the greatest #@%king quotes section in the universe! If I wasn't reading them at work I would seriously have been on the ground crying with laughter! Thank you so very much...-Grimace427 (talk) (Contribs) 20:51, October 19, 2009 (UTC)
