Destiny ImageEdit

Hello Mikerad. I noticed that you have uploaded this image several times over the past week and have used it in place of this image. While you are fully capable of using the version you uploaded on your own user page, I must ask you to please refrain from using it elsewhere on the wiki. The Image Stargate Wiki already has is more than adequate.

In particular, the proportions of your image and the amount of empty space it contains makes it undesirable for this wiki. (Having images that more-closely resemble a square work better in infoboxes and when used in an article. Your image is very rectangular, and thus it would look squashed and harder to see when in a compressed format... as it would be in on any article on Sg wiki.) Furthermore, having several copies of the same/similar image is against our policy.

Ultimately, this isn't a huge deal. None the less, if you continue to upload this image and continue to replace this wiki's existing images with it, you may be blocked from editing for a short time. Thanks! -Anubis 10545 ^{(talk) (Contribs)} 04:34, May 23, 2012 (UTC)

Mikerad, as you may have noticed, 'DestinyAir11.jpg' is the SAME EXACT IMAGE as 'Destiny.png'. There is absolutely no reason why there needs to be 2 versions of that file. I do appreciate that you found an image of Destiny that rivals the previous version we had here. However, because you have repeatedly uploaded these duplicated files since I last warned you, I have temporarily blocked you from editing. -Anubis 10545 ^{(talk) (Contribs)} 03:49, May 25, 2012 (UTC)
