Velona, designated P4X-636 by the Tau'ri, is a planet in the Milky Way that held a Stargate. The planet was laid to waste by the Ancients when Orlin helped the natives build a weapon to defend themselves from the Goa'uld. After the threat was over the Velonans decided to use the new technology to conquer other worlds, so the Ancients destroyed them, making the planet uninhabitable over four centuries ago.
