Winston Churchill (1874-1965) was a British politician known chiefly for his leadership of the United Kingdom during World War II. Churchill was also an officer in the British Army, a historian, a Nobel Prize-winning writer, and an artist.
In 2004, Doctor Carson Beckett quoted Churchill by saying "victory at all costs" in response to the creation of the Hoffan drug, which killed half of its recipients. (SGA: "Poisoning the Well")
In 2006, the Atlantis expedition was tricked into forming an alliance with a Wraith, who later sent two Hive ships to attack Earth.
