Wraith stun gun

Wraith stun guns are the primary ranged weapon used by the Wraith. These rifles are designed to deliver blasts which cause full overloads to the sensory and motor nervous systems, impeding the firing of neurons that enable the necessary movement of the body and resulting in temporary paralysis. This is so the Wraith can capture Humans to feed off later. They do, however, possess sharpened bayonet like blades at the rear. The Wraith are equally affected by the devices, but it normally take two shots to bring down a Wraith, while normally one will suffice for humans. The residual effects are described as a feeling similar to pins and needles throughout the body. Humans under the influence of the Wraith enzyme are unaffected by the stunner.
